# Data and privacy

> What dazie stores from your voice journaling conversations, where it is stored, who processes it, and what dazie never does with it.

Your journal is private. This page explains what dazie keeps and why.

## What dazie stores

* Your account details (email, name, onboarding answers)
* Conversation transcripts and the journal entries written from them
* Insights, follow-ups and memories derived from your entries
* Your companion settings

## Where it is stored

Account and journal data are stored in the EU (Frankfurt). Conversations are processed by AI providers to transcribe speech, run the conversation and write your entry.

## What dazie never does

* Sell your data or share it with advertisers
* Use your journal entries to train AI models
* Send journal content to analytics tools
