# Export and delete

> How to export your dazie journal, delete single entries or memories, and delete your account and all its data.

## Export your journal

In **Settings → Account**, choose **Export journal**. You get your entries, insights and follow-ups as a Markdown file.

## Delete an entry

Open the entry and choose **Delete**. Its insights and follow-ups are deleted with it. Memories that came only from that entry are removed as well.

## Delete your account

In **Settings → Account**, choose **Delete account**. This removes your account, journal, insights, follow-ups and memories. It cannot be undone, so export first if you want a copy.
