# Scheduled calls

> dazie's scheduled phone check-ins, currently in early access: how they work, how to set a time and how to join the waitlist.

With scheduled calls, dazie calls your phone at a time you choose, for example a morning check-in or a wind-down call in the evening. You answer and journal as you would in the app. The entry, insights and follow-ups appear in your journal afterwards.

## Why a call

The hardest part of journaling is starting. A call removes the decision: the phone rings, you pick up, and the conversation has already begun.

## Setting it up (early access)

1. Add and verify your phone number in **Settings → Calls**.
2. Pick the days and time for your check-in.
3. Choose whether dazie should try again if you miss the call.

Sign up on [dazie.io](https://www.dazie.io) and mention calls in onboarding. We open access in small batches.
