You can connect Claude, or any assistant that supports remote MCP servers, to your dazie account. Your assistant can then read your journal and help you keep it, without copying anything over by hand.

Connect your assistant

  1. In your assistant, add a custom connector (in Claude: Settings → Connectors) and enter https://api.dazie.io/mcp as the server URL.
  2. Your assistant opens app.dazie.io. Sign in with your dazie email and password.
  3. dazie shows which assistant is asking and what it can do. Choose Allow to connect it, or Deny to stop.
  4. Ask your assistant things like “what did I write about this week?” or “add a to-do to call mom”.
If the first connection times out, try again. dazie’s server can take up to a minute to wake up.

What your assistant can do

  • Read your journal entries, the insights dazie saved from them, and call transcripts.
  • Read your to-dos, your companion’s memories and your call schedule.
  • Write journal entries, add and update to-dos, and add memories.
It can’t delete anything, make calls or change your account, and it only ever sees your own data.

For other agents

Agents that speak the A2A protocol can ask dazie about a user’s journal after the same sign-in. dazie answers from that user’s entries, to-dos and memories and changes nothing. The agent card is at https://www.dazie.io/.well-known/agent-card.json. Developers can find the sign-in details in auth.md: dazie uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and dynamic client registration, and the endpoints are discoverable from https://api.dazie.io/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource.
